中新社马尼拉5月4日电 (记者 张兴龙)据菲律宾媒体报道，菲卫生部4日通报称，今年极端高温天气已导致该国7人死亡。
菲卫生部发布的数据显示，今年1月1日至4月29日，该国共报告77例与酷热有关的疾病病例，其中87%的病例年龄介于12至21岁之间。
受厄尔尼诺现象的强烈影响，菲律宾近期遭遇热浪持续袭击，且严重程度超过往年同期。
菲律宾国家气象局4日表示，该国当天仍有包括首都马尼拉在内的30座城市的炎热指数达到“危险”级别。
炎热指数是指相对湿度与空气温度相结合时人体感受到的温度。菲国家气象局根据危险程度将炎热指数分为“小心”(27℃-32℃)、“极其小心”(33℃-41℃)、“危险”(42℃-51℃)和“极其危险”(52℃及以上)四个等级。
菲国家气象局警告，当炎热指数达到“危险”级别时，人们可能会出现热相关疾病，如热痉挛和热衰竭。
菲律宾教育部消息，受持续高温影响，截至3日，该国已有近8000所公立学校从线下转为线上授课，以保护易受高温影响的儿童和青少年健康。(完)
